St. Brendan Orthodox Church recently added not only a new altar, and new iconostasis, but icons and lampadas (hanging oil lamps). This traditional method of illumining the worship space goes back milennia and is used in every Orthodox Church, Parish, Chapel and monastery in the world. Here are a few photos. Enjoy!
